Inbox Messages are Blue

I just recently had Outlook 2003 installed. The messages in my Inbox , read
or unread, are all bold and blue even though the autoformat for unread
indicates unread messages should be bold and black. I changed the unread
from black to fuscia and they then showed up that color but as soon as I
changed it back to black, they showed up blue again. Any ideas why or how to
fix this? Thanks.

Try resetting the current view on that folder.

Thanks but that wasn't it. Apparently I had an auto format set up for
flagged items on this folder. I'm still not sure why this made a difference
since none of these messages had flags on them but once I deleted the
autoformat everything was back to normal.
