Inability to fax after AOL DSL installation

After the installation of AOL DSL installation, I am
unable to fax. Error messages received are "Line Down" &
"No Dial Tone"
When I remove the AOL DSL, the fax goes through without
any problems.
What are your suggestions?

Of course. You can only fax over an analog phone line.
DSL is not an analog phone line.
