I was installing WM 10 and something happened. It gave me
the option to go bak to previous version. I tried that, it
bombed. I rebooted and found I nolonger could get to
Windows Explorer, IE, search, my computer, my networks, my
documents, my recent docs, or fax and printers. I can
browse thru RUN to my computer and all my files. I
reinstalled all patches and WM 10. It works OK. I tried
REPAIR from my CD and when it complete nothing had
changed. Whenever I click on any of the aplications
mentioned above I get Windows Explorer. Windowes Explorer
has encountered a problem and needs to close. I have sent
numerous error reports. My system works OK using RUN to
browse and NETSCAPE as my browser. MS Browser has the
following problem and keeps gettting errors and closing.

One more thing I apparently have been invaded by ADware.
and it has taken over the homepage of my browser. Even
when I list the site as restricted it still changes the
URL back to its own.. http:\\db105.com:81/cgi-
bin/index.cgi?c=0

Help with either or both would be appreciated.

spyware/malware. After installing update them, then boot into safe mode
and run them. You should update and run them weekly.
