After splitting an access database to front an back-end, remote users cannot
update records. records are displayed but seems "read only".

You must give users read/write/edit/delete priviledges to the BE file AND the
folder the BE resides in. If the folder is read only ACCESS cannot update the
lock file (the ldb) or the tables.

Thanks! I only gave privileges to the folder assuming heritage wil give the
same to all files. Now that I gave priviledges to the BE file also - It works
and remote users can update the records. Thanks again!
