More on warning messages - Access 2007

Hello ..... Got approval to test splitting the database .. I split a test
version of the data base, put the back end on the server and a copy of the
front end on each pc, then signed on as two different users and accessed the
data base .. unfortunately that did not work .. got the same message as
follows:

"This record has been changed by another user since you started editing it.
If you save the record you will overwrite the changes the other user has
made ..." options displayed are:

Save Record, Copy to clipboard, drop changes.

Note: users are editing different records ..

Any more thoughts on how to eliminate this message would be most
appreciated.

Change the permissions on the database folder on the server to allow
everything but Full Control. You admin can do that for you. Make sure that
you are using Optimistic Locking:

Tools >>> Options >>> Advanced

and check No Locks

I just noticed that the subject says that you are using Access 2007. You'll
find Options in the Office button (the pizza button) in the top left corner.
