Impossible to install it

I always have this message when I try to install it :

"Error 1609. An error occured while applying security settings. User is not
a valid user or group. This could be a problem with the package, or a problem
connecting to a domain controller on the network. Check you network
connection and click Retry or Cancel".

How can I fix this problem ?

I have Win Xp Home edition in frech. I've tried Noreña's method without
success. I can't install the app. Since it removed AntiSpiware
automatically, I hope Ms finds a solutions quickly.

Plun has posted a solution in thread "Error 1609" and his solution worked on
my computer where Noreña's method has previouly failed.

Here is a re-transcription of what Plun posted:
"Workaround from Jacek Kolonko:

1. Start -> Run net localgroup Users /add

2. Install WindowsDefender.msi.

3. Start -> Run net localgroup Users /delete

Works for both XP Pro and Home

Steps to install Windows Defender

1.- Create an account called Users ((Start---->>Control

2.- Set as Limited Account User. Don't set any password
3.- Click on Create Account.
4.- Run the installation program of Windows Defender

That's all. I have the same problem and do this, and works. My SO is
