importing OE6 Folders into Windows Mail

Before installing Vista, I backed up my Outlook Express e-mail folders
located in the 'local settings\application
data\identities\{4E3254D7-525A-417A-9296-3F4767C3A2DC}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express' folder to a harddrive. Now I'm trying to restore them to Windows
Mail, but Windows Mail only wants to import files from an account that is
already set up in Windows Mail, or from another user account. How can I
restore these folders and the e-mails that are in them?

Found the answer on here - thanks!

The problem was caused by Vista duplicating the last folder name that I
browsed to.
