Importing mail from Outlook Express to Outlook

I am in the process of switching a group of people in my office from
Outlook Express to Outlook. We have POP3 accounts. Most of the time
everything seems to work fine but I have encountered the following
problems:

1. Not all of the messages are imported. This has happened on both an
"Inbox" folder and a "Sent Items" folder.

2. The original dates on messages are changed to the date the migration
is done.

I have tried to do the reverse...exporting from OE to Outlook and it
didn't seem to resolve the problem.

I haven't been able to find much information on these issues. Does
anyone have any ideas or solutions? similar experiences?

Not if you export from Outlook Express. Dates are preserved.

No, but try exporting from OE to OL and you may get more of the messages
moved.
