Importing from OE

Vista came with my new computer. My old computer has XP with OE. When I
try to import over my network messages from OE to Mail it says no message
exists. Yet the file are all there when I look from my old computer. OE
files are .dbx. Alos when I try to import mail settings I get no choice as
to where to look, it just states there are not other settings. What is the
problem?.

It's best to copy the .dbx files over to a temporary folder on the Vista
computer, and import them from there.
And when you import, and navigate to the folder containing the .dbx files,
don't open that folder.

You may have to import the messages without using your network.

Bring along the .wab file if you want your old contacts list. After you
copy the files to a directory on your new computer, but before you
import them into Windows Mail, make sure the copies are read-write
instead of readonly.
