Importing e-mail from another computer.

My trusty old iBook finally died after 6 years of loyal service, and I want
to import all my messages from my Mac Mail on that computer, to my new PC. Is
there any way to do that?

I have saved all the messages onto my external harddrive, then into a folder
on my desktop, but have no idea how to actually then import them into my
windows mail. It only gives me the option of importing messages from another
mail programme, not from a folder.

Any help would me most appreciated!
