Importing Danish Into Word 2003

R

Robert Maxwell

I have an Issue with word 2003.
When ever I copy something from Lotus Notes into word, the danish only
characters are lost, and are replaced by other symbols such as A umlaut, and
yen symbol.
I have to select paste special, or when copying select the clipboard at the
bottom of the text, and select keep text only, then this will copy correctly.
Is it an issue with the default font I am using?
As I am able to type the symbols normally into word using this font.
Thanks

I am unable to test anything in this area and can't tell you where to look
or what you can change, so I don't know whether this will be of much help
but it sounds as if it may be a code page issue. If Notes is using a Danish
code page rather than unicode and Word is then translating to unicode using
a default US code page I think you will see that kind of behaviour.
