importing contacts

I had to reinstall xp pro and I had outlook 2003, I saved the file but
could,nt find 2003 again. I used outlook 2002 & it would not let me import
the contacts even after doing the updates. Are all my contcats worthless? Is
there any way to import these without finding 2003 outlook. Help
 
Assuming you had an OL2003 format data file, OL2002 cannot read an OL2003
data file

You need to find your OL2003 cd or find somebody who has OL2003 in order to
create an old format data file and COPY data to this.
 
Importing is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data. I suspect you
can provide better information than "it would not let me import." What did
it do to stop you? What was the precise error message? If you created this
data exclusively in Outlook 2003, it would not be compatible with older
versions. You can only access it with Outlook 2003 or higher.
