Import Messages from OE

Bob Simon

I use Outlook 2003 (11.5608.5606) on my laptop and have Outlook
Express version 6.00 on an old computer. I copied the personal
message store folder (.dbx files) from the old computer to my laptop.
Is it possible to import all messages from a few specific OE local
folders into Outlook Personal Folders?

I solved this problem by loading Outlook on my old PC and exporting
from OE. Now I have ALL my Personal Folders in the new copy of
Outlook.

How do I copy just a few of them from my old PC to my laptop?

In Outlook Express on your laptop, click on the File menu and choose to
export your messages into Outlook.

Create a new PST and copy to it only the folders you wish to transfer. Then
transfer the new PST.

Thanks Brian. I've never worked with other folders before. It worked
great. Now I've finally got all my email together in one (big) file.
