image size for lecture presentation

i will be doing a lecture with projected iamges onto a large screen (6' to 10'). What image size (dpi) and dimensions should i import images as? Also, is there a way to resize all imported images into a consistent 200dpi

The size of the projection screen is relatively unimportant to PowerPoint.
It is more concerned with the projectors resolution. Like your desktop,
this will represent how many dots of color can be displayed.
