max. image file size for PowerPoint presentation to be projected

I have been asked to supply some of my photographs to an exhibition where
they will be arranged in a PowerPoint presentation and then projected onto a
screen, approximately 100 inches x 100 inches.

I am not a PowerPoint user, but can prepare the image files to just about
any size - what are the optimum dimensions, dpi, file size for this
application? My goal is to prepare the images so that they will look as good
as possible in this presention format. Thanks for your help in advance.

Mark,

in short - find out the pixel resolution of the projector
e.g. 1024x768 pixels

make your images the same. (forget DPI) think PIXELS!
