Image files do not appear consistenly on IE 6 SP2 and more

I try to "save image as" and the browser always save as
untitled.bmp, regardeless the image being gif or jpg or
having an ID. Also, the browser freezes, and it doesn't
display source when I click on "view source" to check if
there is a problem with the graphics. On the top of
everything I can't access FTP sites anymore.

Anybody knows what's going on?

Hi,
The first two problems can be caused by a full or corrupted cache.

Clear the IE cache from IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content.) It's often recommended that the TIF
folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

If that doesn't help with the FTP problem, post back.
