Im begging for help

Hi, I have a pc game called godfather the game I use to play it fine on
this cpu, 3 Mos ago I got me a bigger hardive so i had to reinstall all my
games but now for some reason when I try to run the game I get a black
splash screen for about 3 sec then it goes to my toolbar and nothing happens
when I go and check ctrl+alt+del it say game not responeding I play alot of
way more damanding game then this one. I even went and got the game for my
father for xmas and he Is haveing the same thing nether of us can play this
game. I went to the support web of EA games and tryed anything they list
that mite be the reason still nothing. your my last resort I would be
gratefull for any help.

All our drivers are up to date
directx Is up to date as of 1/7/07 off microsoft web site.

Videocard driver Is up to date Im runing nvidia 6800 ultra 256mb
fathers Video card is Nvidia 7800g GT 512mb

Im runing athlon64 3400+ 2.40 gighrz.
he has pentium4 3.2 gighrz.
both our sound card are up to date drivers

I have tryed just about any thing to get this game to work again for me. my
father just got the game and has never been able to run it If anybody
has a idel what I should try off site send email to (e-mail address removed)

Have you tried increasing
your virtual memory/swap file?
