IKernel.exe file missing

Can someone help me to get my IKernel.exe file back? I
want to reinstall my sony clie handheld and i installed
xp with the microsoft techs from win 98 from a clean
install. I get the error message that my Ikernel.exe
file is missing and I cannot install the clie. Please
help or direct me to the proper "help" menu to ask.
