IKernel.exe file missing

I have installed xp from clean install with microsoft
techs from win 98. I am trying to reinstall my sony clie
software and I get an error message that my Ikernel.exe
file is missing and I cannot install. Can you help?
 
Check the Sony Clie website or their tech support for help with this issue.
It's possible you need updated software for the Clie to work with XP, again,
you need to go to their website and look for software compatible with XP.
