I've recently rebooted my computer and until now, everything has been going well. Using the Dell Resource CD, I am unable to install the Sound driver. During installation, an error pops up: error installing ikernel.exe (1x10000). I have searched several pages of google on this seemingly common error, but no resolutions have worked. I've also tried deleting and reinstalling the Engine for InstallShield.
I was able to install everything else from the Resource CD (Network Drivers, etc.) before this. I have a Dell 4600 with everything inside being the way we bought it. I'm running McAfee 2009 (if that helps).
