IEXPLORE.exe has generated errors...

I used AntiSpyware to remove some adware stuff from my
computer. Now I'm having some problems. I'm running W2K.

IEXPLORE.exe generates a error when you select the start
icon, the program etc... I can open a browser using
association. ie if I click on a *.htm file I'm in.
It dies again going to www.yahoo.com but not ca.yahoo.com.

Any ideas? I tried installing ie6 again but that did
nothing useful except make me reinstall security patches.

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type (or paste in): SFC /SCANNOW

Get HijackThis.exe from
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe

Save it to C:\hjt (new folder) then Open it and select
SCAN and Save LOG.
Note where it saves the log and send me the HijackThis log
as an attachment.
You can try just copying it and pasting it into a reply
but I
might not see it. I should be able to identify the
problem and tell you how to get rid of it for good.
