IEEE Link Port Cable

Ok So I was having trouble with blurry video and was told to order an Ilink
1394
4 pin to 4 pin port cable. so I ordered that and waited patiently for it to
arrive. Once it arrived I hooked the thing in to my camera and proceded to
look for a ilink port in my computer to plug the cable into. that is where I
have run in to a problem. My computer doesnt have a port for a 4 pin Ilink
cable. *exasperated*. I really want to get my movies started but now I don't
know what to do. do they even make a 4 pin to 6 pink Ilink cable? I am sure
they do but now I am stuck with this 4 pin to 4 pin cable. does anyone else
have any bright ideas as to what else i can do?

Actually when I was involved in this conversation, at least I think I was, I
said I was not aware of any difference between an iLink cable and a firewire
cable. I did things the easy way when I got my camera. I went to Wal-Mart
and bought a firewire cable plugged it into my computer and then plugged it
into my camera. Take your camera with you to a computer store and they will
be able to set you up with the correct cable.

Four to six is common. When I bought an IEEE1394 card, it came with a
four to six cable. $16.99 for the package.

Don't worry about it. I got it this time. I was the one who should have
looked at my computer and saw that it needed to the 4 to 6 pin cable. I will
just go and get another cable. no worrys. Thank you for all of your help
