According to experts, there can be two causes:
1. Incompatible add-ons: What if you right click the IE icon on the desktop
and choose Start Without Add-ons?
Or go to Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet
Explorer (No Add-ons).

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing Messenger Plus, whose ads for
malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince you that you
owe it to the author. See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along. Don't install any extras you're not sure
of.

I dont have any responce from sytem tools add ons,nothing happens,right click on shortcut on desk top does nothing,any place in dicuments,all users,default users lfl, les, click and it just shows it running but goes no where,I have noe spyware or malware,as i use lava soft,spybot,registry mechanic,zonealarm firewall,antivirus,antispyware,all in ZASUITE,even removed it ,removed IE7,did nodt go to IE6,reinstalled 7,restartrd teice,still IE7 goes nowhere,I have forh hard drives,and donot want to try and do new install of xppro,all my other browsers work fine,firefox,thunderbird,opera,and netscape,I sure need help,if I go to a restore point they eill not work,alwas come backs with cannodt install,Feb.14 was the last time IE7 worked,and it has to be the auto updates from MS>that causes the problems,This happened with IE6,then I did an upgrade from disk,and had to reinstall all my kprograms,and that is when I let them update to IE7,I hope I can get help,as I teach,and right now I
