why is this called netscape.com - microsoft internet
explorer in the dialog box. Have the two browsers been
merged? I thought netscape was a different company and at
one time a part of aol.
 
What dialog box? If you go to www.netscape.com, the IE will show
"Netscape.com Microsoft Internet Explorer" at title bar. But thts' just
normal. When you go to different site, the title changes. It's also possible
to customize title bar text and put "netscape" there. Maybe someone has made
a trick for you.
