IE6 unable to display Chinese characters

Yesterday my IE6 screwed up (unable to display all GIF &
JPG image icons in webpages) for unknown reason and after
remove-n-reinstall it got back to work again.

However, I found that it is unable to display Chinese
characters (in webpages) even though I change the encoding
to "traditional Chinese" in "View" menu. What can I do?
