IE6 Toolbars - Win Surf not wanted!!!

D

Dugjak

I have somehow managed to gain a toolbar in IE6 listed as Win Surf Toolbar -
even when I turn it off it comes back. It is annoying and will not allow the
google toolbar to remain in position.

Have checked for spyware with CWShredder and all appears OK.

Cannot find any information on it. How can I remove a toolbar from IE6 when
there appears to be no access through add/remove programs?

Hey there!

whenever i have these problems, i tend to run Spybot
which has gotten rid of many toolbars before and the new
version comes with a registry protector as well... search
for Spybot S&D and dload it (its free) see if running
that helps.

Hi

Try these two programs as well to check for any spyware:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/

Also see the following links:
