The title bar at the top of the browser window used to
contain the name of the site you are visiting. It now
only contains the first letter. Everythging else is
hidden. I also notice the same thing when I open a
Windows Explorer window.

Any ideas anybody??

Hi Dennis,

Reset the Explorer/IE Window title:

Click Start | Run | type:

"rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear"

Did you copy and past the command line?
Did you include the quotes, not required.

This is an old article, not sure if it will clear your problem.

A Single Letter May Be Displayed in the Title Bar
When you run Windows Explorer or start Internet Explorer, the text in the
title bar may be displayed as a single letter (for example, an "M" or an
"E").

Hi Ramesh:

Tried your fix, but it didn't work. Any other ideas?

Dennis

Thank you very much Andre, That old article fixed my
problem. I deleted pwatch.exe from my startup folder and
the problem went away. Many thanks!!!
