Has anyone had or reported problems with IE6 cumulative patch Q818529 and
opening PDF files?
Here's the issue I'm having. I do web development on my local box then post
to a staging and production server, and I also build browser based
presentations that go on CD. After installing Q818529 I found that I wasn't
able to open an Adobe PDF file from a link from a HTML page in IE6 on the
local box. All I come up with is a blank screen in IE6. When the PDF and
HTML is published to the web server, it works fine. The issue is only when
opening on the local box.
I've tried various security settings, and the only thing that fixes the
problem is to remove Q818529 from my system.
Any suggestions?
