IE6, MediaPlayer 9 won't run

IE6 can't handle any scripts or activeX web pages. Windows
Update returns only a blank page.

Java based programs fail to run.

Do I need to reinstall the VM? I've reinstalled IE6, but no
difference. I can't get in to Windows Update to downlaod
from there.

What can I do?

To verify your version, go to Start/Run and type in: wjview
