A Ace Aug 16, 2005 #3 This removes the Favorites pane after IE comes up. What can I do so that the Favorites pane never appears in the first place?

I have Win98 SE, IE6 and OE6 If I go to View > Point to Explorer Bar < select Favorites > I get the favorites column on the left side of the screen continuously, but the favorites column ceases to show once I uncheck favorites, whether or not IE is closed or open.
