IE6 does not print graphics, larger than 1 page

Hello all - I have the following problem:

Since version 5.5, IE doesn't print webpages that are larger than 1 page
(DIN A4 or Letter), whatever system or printer I use.
The graphic is missing, all other content of the webpage is printed properly.

We have process charts like this example:
http://www.tenevo.de/test

Sometimes the graphics are about 2-5 pages long and we print them in
landscape format.
Netscape and Firefox cannot print that long graphics either.

Frontpage2003 for example SOMETIMES can print the pages - sometimes it
crashes.

Has anyone an idea WHY that happens in all new browser versions and how to
fix that?
