IE6 browser quit working

Using XP home with all SPs and critical updates applied,
IE6 has begun to display the page can not be opened error
message for limited users but works OK for
administrators. To my knowledge there have been no
changes to the security settings, no new programs
installed other than the latest IE patch. The virus dat
file is current, the firewall is set to allow IE6 full
access to the net. The Internet Checkers game works. The
latest Netscape works OK for everyone. What can I check
next?

Hi,
This is probably being caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite) It's possible for these to affect only some user accounts.

Work through the solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at
