IE6 and the error box/redirected to internet-optimizer or one like it...

I get the error box every few minutes; it also won't
keep yahoo as my homepage--I'm often redirected to
internet-optimizer or another search page. Any ideas? I
got rid of a Trojan virus recently and was advised to
download Internet Explorer again, because it was
now "inside out".....any help is much appreciated! ang

I am trying to remove this from my system. I followed the link's instructions, yet it is still in my comp. I am left with both the Casino thing and the IESearchbar Toolbar in my Add/Remove program list, yet cannot remove either. I click on the button to remove, and it does nothing.

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.

You may need to fix your registry after that:

1) Restores the missing Tabs in IE (usually spyware related)
2) Unlocks the grayed-out Home Page section
3) Removes the Administrator message in Internet Options
