internet optimizer

What is internet optimizer?
I have windows XP, IE 6.0, via cable modem. I will be on
the net and when I click on any link or go to the next
page of any site this "internet optimizer" page will pop
up.It says "HELP/NAVIGATIOM ERROR - Server ERROR server
failed to return this URL" then it will display the url of
the site I was just on. The page seems fishy to me because
instead of a standard unable to display page message
this "Internet Optimizer" page is filled with links to
other sites and inside the "O" in the word optimizer is a
picture of a bug.

How can i make this go away permenantly?

Thanks
Lisa

It's pretty simple. People give you all of these complicated ways,
but if you are running Win. XP just do the following:

1) Click on start, and click on Control Panel
2) Click on "Add and remoove programs"
3) Scroll down the the list, and find "Internet optimizer"
4) Click on "Change/Remove"
5) Follow the steps from there

This should work; if it comes back again, repeat the steps above.
