Whenever my browser can't find a site, an "Internet
Optimizer" search page pops up instead of what used to be
the default page. I've removed the program (which I'm sure
I didn't intall) and used Spybot, but it's still there.
Any idea how I can get rid of it?

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")
Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")
