IE very slow connection with DSL

I have three pc's in my office connected to the web with high speed DSL. The
two older pc's have blazingly fast connections, but the new pc is ten times
slower than dial up ever was. We have verified the connection speeds with our
provider for this pc but it still takes forever to connect using IE 6. The
same pc works fast when connected to DSL at home. Each of the three pc's are
running Norton anti-virus and spyware software. Does anyone have any
suggestions for improving performance on this one pc?

Hi,

Considering you have isolated the problem as with that
specific PC and the network, you may want check that your
server settings are allowing your new PC regular access to
the network, and not bottlenecking it or something of the
like.

From what you have posted, it would seem that the
trouble lies with your new PC connecting to the internet
through your office network, and therefore the place to
start troubleshooting would be looking at your office's
network policies on 'outside' computers.
