I keep reading throughout this forum several complaints that IE 6.0 shuts
downs and some have stated there is no error message. I have been having
this problem for about 6-7 weeks now when I connect to certain sites. I have
tried shutting down my software that stops pop-ups, anti-spyware program and
my Norton anti-virus software without any luck. When I change some options
in IE such as disable scripting I can load a few of these sites yet the site
myyahoo.com complains that it needs the scripting enabled for it's newer
version of software or you should revert back to an older version of Yahoo.
I have read so many replies to the same type of problem and no suggestion of
how to fix the problem is the same from re-installing IE to a possible sasser
virus(?). I wish that Microsoft would address this issue for everyone! Does
anyone know if SP2 has a fix for this problem?
It is very frustrating!!
