IE search page displays

Every time I boot up and sign onto my browser, I get a
page with "Best of the Web" links, I can only get it off
the screen by doing {CTRL,ALT,delete}then start over
again. How do I prevent this page from coming up when I go
onto my browser?

Most likely you have some spyware on your system.

I recommend that you download Ad-aware, install it and run it.
