IE Runtime Error with Fast User Switching - Please Help.

I have multiple accounts setup with the Fast User Switching turned on. When
I switch to the 2nd account, if IE was running on my 1st account, I get a
runtime error when I tried to run IE on the 2nd active account. Anyone know
what causes this? Thanks for your help.

Runtime errors usually deal with memory-page file and/or ram, increasing
ram increases page file, less chance of error.

This is the error I get:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

I get this same error just for explorer.exe also.

I have 1G of ram and windows is managing my pagefiles. It was set to ~1G on
the HD.

This error occurs everythime I try it.

Ive had the exact same problem as you when having I.E run with my first
account, the latter account with fast user switching would result in explorer
having a runtime error message.

Other posts have quoted uninstalling the toolbars and what not, but have not
been helpful.

Microsoft has acknowledged this as problem:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884538/en-us

However the hotfix that they supposedly have available is not available for
download?

If anyone has that fix, can they email it?

Furthermore, upon my research I did read something about registry entries,
from uninstalled programs that linger around being called by reference, but
having no physical location to run their program, resulting in the error
message.

So im gonna go ahead and try Registry Pro as one of the guys here have
recommeneded.

The funny thing is it all just started happening very recently. After my ms.
security updates :D But im sure the two cases are not at all related ;).

Overall though, I have yet to fix this problem.

Any thoughts, inputs would all be appreciated.
