IE Problems

IE toolbar has disappeared and I am no longer able to download anything onto
my computer. I have tried to download a new version of IE's browser and
nothing happens. My auto updates says it is downloading but when it tries to
install, I get nothing. Any suggestions?

1) see if it works in safemode w/networking
option.

2) use another browser, eg foxfire or netscape
or both...

3) uninstall ie via add/remove programs "and"
via add/remove component as well.

Download IE from their website instead of through auto updates.
If you are getting full screen web pages, the toolbar should still be there.
Have you tried dragging it down with your mouse?
