IE Privicy Setting for Accepting Cookies

Hi
Recently I had to clear out my cookie file. Ever since then I have had to
set my "cookie setting" for "accept all cookies to enable me to access and
login to certain websites, for example: my email at yohoo.com. If I do not
make the extreme setting it will not accept the password and issues an error
message stating that my IE will not accept the cookie. Also, I was unable to
download my contact list for an e mail for a yahoo e mail I was composing
until I made the same setting. I have the same problem with my "Verizon"
website; what’s going on here? Has anyone had the same problem and can make
some suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Hi,
If you select a Privacy setting other that "accept all" or "block all" you
can use the Edit button to accept or block cookies from selected sites.

I use a setting of Low and when Ad-aware finds a tracking cookie, I add that
site to the blocked list.

Hope this helps,
Don

Hi Don
Thanks for your reply. Where is the "edit" button your are referring to
located, do you mean the "edit" button on the menu bar? Further, why has my
IE become so senitive that I have to use the extreme setting to except all
cookies in order to logon to a site? Thanks.

Sorry, I could have been more clear...
Cookie settings are accessed from Internet Options> Privacy. You don't have
to accept *all* cookies. You can accept or block cookies from selected
sites.
