IE 6 is taking ages to load the pages.

I have WinXP, and have all the updates I have read that they maybe an update
that is causing this to happen?

anyone else having the same problems?

have you found an answer to solve it?

What is your antivirus software saying? Did you recently clean your
computer of the unnecessary temp files?

If you don't have any anti-virus/firewall software installed then you
could do an online scan at RAV:
http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/

and/or Panda:
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm

You could also see if you have some spyware on your computer. Download a
free program called: "Ad-aware", which you can get at this website:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/
Make sure you update the 'reference' file before running the program.
Just click on the link: "check for updates now" after launching the program.

all of the below has been done, i have norton internet security, using
spybot, add-aware and bazooka. all of which is up-to-date

all temp files and cleaned every day automatically on exit, and checked once
a week by myself to be sure it is clean.

but still internet explorer is VERY slow, not just dial up slow, but really
slow slow.

i have broadband 750kb sec, and is ok with downloads all 750mb sec, + more
of bandwidth is used so no problems with ISP

anyone else have this problem or know the answer or what update i need to
remove?

thanks

J
