IE Explorer wont connect, Please help!!

Hi, I deleted IE off of my computer, but i thought i got it back on there. So
now I can connect to the internet, but when I click on IE to bring up a
webpage, it says "This Page Cannot be Displayed" And none of my messengers
will work either.. SO its almost like the IE and internet are seeing each
other. Ive tried restoring it to an earlier time when it was ok but it wont
let me.. Any help would be so grateful. Thanks

Check your network settings, especially DNS address
adn IP address

Try this..
1.) Download WinsockFix.zip. (by: Option^Explicit)
http://members.shaw.ca/installations/WinsockFix.zip

2.) UnZip WinsockFix.zip
3.) Run WinsockFix.exe.
4.) Click the Fix button.

This program will clean up your TCP/IP connection and rebuild the
database.
After the program is complete, reboot.
