IE Error message

I receive the following error message at several sites while attempting to
open documents
Internet explorer cannot download "document" from "site".
Internet explorer was unable to open this internet site. The requested
site is either unavailable or cannot be found.

Both vedors indicate the sites are working properly and they are able to
open the document. I've tried turning off pop up blocker and the xp firewall
without any luck.

Hi Jim,

First, it doesn't matter what the *vendor* says unless they are testing
external to their network.

You may simply have a corrupt cache; create a new one as per the
instructions at the URL below:
