IE Error Message

Margaret

I've looked through support and tried to figure this out,
but it's fruitless. Nearly every time I go on the
interent, I get a message that reads "Internet Explorer
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for this inconvenience." All my info is the same
as what is listed in the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article
810887 except that my ModName is me2.dll and Offset is
000028d0. Does anyone know how this error can be
corrected?

Thanks, Margaret

Thanks! It looks like this may have taken care of the
problem. My next question is, how do I know if
everything the program brings up after the scan should be
quarantined and deleted? Will it ever give me files that
should not be "cleaned?"

Margaret,
If you used SpyBot, just like it says on my page:
"Remove items in red, items in blue-green are optional"
In other words ..... one the first pass just remove the red items.

If anything you are not sure of just ask ... there are lots of
Ad-Aware\SpyBot users here <g>
