IE can't display, other internet apps work

All my internet applications work just fine, including netscape and AIM, but
IE says it can't display any of the pages. ipconfig testing looks fine
OS: Windows 2000
What gives?

i'v heard that netscape and aol likes to take over.
what's your default broswer? i'd take mozilla over
netscape anyday.
