IE 8

Since downloading ie 8 I have been unable to open any attachments.

I have uninstalled IE8 as advised but the problem persists and seems to be
associated with AVG 8.5 which I am unable to uninstall by any normal means!

I have opened attachments by using google chrome and going direct to my ISP
site something which does not work using IE

Any body have any Ideas, or should I just wait for Google OS to come out to
get my computer to work.

If you cannot uninstall AVG then you need to seek support from AVG

You posted the same issue three different times. Once is enough.
Sounds like you have problems with AVG and with IE. Those issues
need to be cleared up first before you can tackle mail issues.
