IE 7 Installation issues

Hi,

I have tried installing IE 7 on XP Home (SP2) and XP pro (SP2).

IE 7 installer is validating Genuine Microsoft Windowsinstallation.
(On my machine installer lunches the URL http://www.microsoft.com/

genuine/down\loads/AutomaticUpdates.aspx?displaylang=en&sGuid=ca6454b9-fdf0-47a2-80d2-154430\7af70b ).

I have tried validating the windows installation as per the instructions.
Finally I have seen "Validation Complete. ... Thank you for validating
Microsoft windows ...." (URL of the web page where I observed Validation
Complete':

http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/do...en&sGuid=c7474447-906e-4785-8e2e-77da014e8bf0).

But IE 7 installer is not proceeding further. Again it is asking
for validation.

After going through validation process, again it is asking for
validation.

Did any body gone thru this issue, If so please lend your helpy
hand.

Please let me know if you require further details.

Thanks,
Sasi.

Assuming you are an MSDN subscriber, have you tried downloading a fresh
(new) copy of IE7b1 installer?
