IE 6

[Ferdie]

When I click on the IE icon from my desktop my mouse
pointer would flash then go back to the pointer but IE
did not start. If I go directly to my programs folder
open the Internet Explorer from there it would do the
same thing. I am running windows xp professional sp1 and
I have 512MB of memory. Please advise
