IE 6

Everytime I open a web page in IE6 I can not close it
without using the task manager. I end up with 5 or 6 pages
that simply won't close. Any thoughts or suggestions would
be greatly appreciated.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
